Salt Palace Spa offers a unique 450sq.f. salt room fully made with beautiful pink Himalayan salt.
Himalayan salt is rock salt from the Punjab region of Pakistan, near the Himalayas. This salt deposit comes from a sea present during the Permian and Cretaceous eras, around 250 million years ago. This sea apparently ended up landlocked, evaporating until it left a dense salt deposit, colored by a common pink microorganism that had lived in it. Himalayan salt is 100% natural and drug free product, which contains about 84 trace elements valuable to our bodies including iodine, magnesium and potassium.
To build the room we incorporated around 10 tons of salt. Due to high amount of rock Himalayan salt the microclimate in our room is pretty identical to those natural salt caves found in the mountains. The healing effect is increased with use of special state-of-the-art halo generator, which injects a dry salt aerosol into the salt room so you can realize the full benefits of our Himalayan salt in your lungs and on your skin. Because the salt is ground to a microscopic consistency, it can penetrate the deepest recesses of your lungs and skin, which is where the real work takes place.
Salt's antibacterial properties create an unwelcome environment for microbes within your body, all while avoiding irritation to the mucus membranes. It's a natural way to aid in the treatment of numerous illnesses, including, but not limited to:
Halotherapy sessions last 45 minutes inside our Salt Palace room. Guests relax in reclining chairs and enjoy the beautiful glowing pink salt walls while calming music floats through the salt enriched air. Great for all ages! Check our schedule for sessions. The therapy, known as halotherapy, dated back to Europe in the 19th century. Salt has antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory qualities that are all-natural. The Salt Palace spa is a part of Steamul Sauna, which makes it a perfect destination for complex treatment. We offer wet Russian Banyas with wood burning stoves, dry Finnish Sauna, steam room, cold water swimming pool, hot tub at one flat fee.
